Robert Schwarzhaupt, Evaluation Lead

Robert Schwarzhaupt is senior quantitative researcher at AIR. In his role as evaluation lead for the Center, Robert will oversee formative and summative data collection and measure how the center is impacting researchers and NSF grantees. As an independent evaluator, Robert works in consultation with the leadership team while maintaining independence in the analysis and reporting of findings. Robert brings a depth of experience leading and evaluating state and federally funded research projects. He currently serves as the deputy director of CS@AIR: Center for Evolving Computer Science Education, Principal Investigator (PI) on the NSF Developing Teacher AI Literacy Scales,  Co-PI for the NSF Computer Science Teacher Professional Development Passport Alliance (#2327863), and PI on the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s PAsmart STEM grant evaluation. Previously, he acted as formative evaluator on the DRK-12 Evidence Quality and Reach (EQR) Hub (#2101162), project director on the NSF Exploring Computer Fellows 2.0 project (#1837394), and PI for the NSF BEAMS-CS project (#2434748).
