Community of Practice: Propensity Score Analysis and Estimation

This three-session Community of Practice (CoP), developed by CADRE's Evidence Quality and Reach (EQR) Hub, offered researchers an opportunity to build their understanding of when and how to use propensity score analysis (PSA). As part of the experience, experts in PSA shared approaches and resources to help participants evaluating educational interventions when students are not randomized to an intervention. Participants learned how to use PSA to create comparable comparison groups in order to understand the impact of an intervention. Participants also practiced applying what they learned using a synthetic data set or their own data set between sessions.
