Applying Social Network Analysis to STEM Education Research
This webinar introduced researchers to applications of social network analysis (SNA) in STEM education research and explored how the method can be used to study relationships and patterns within educational settings.
The webinar explored key considerations for applying SNA to STEM education research, including identifying research questions suited to network analysis, collecting and analyzing relational data, and interpreting network patterns. Presenters also discussed challenges they encountered when using SNA and strategies for addressing them, illustrating how the method can help researchers better understand relationships, interactions, and networks across STEM education contexts.
